New Partner Brian Coughlin and associate Tatiana Chiu were interviewed by Law360 about joining Fisher Phillips’ Boston office, expanding the firm’s Immigration practice with the aim of becoming a “one-stop-shop" for employers in New England.
Brian, who brings 17 years of experience in business immigration law to the firm, talked about his experience in helping businesses – from new venture capital-backed enterprises to large multinational companies – establish new U.S. offices and secure E-2 and E-1 visas. He also discussed his deep experience in employment authorization, employee training, enforcement, and regulatory compliance and preparation of immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions.
“I’ve filed thousands of H-1B petitions over the past almost 20 years and along the way I’ve developed a streamlined and, I think, effective approach,” he said. “But with the scalability and technical resources, and depth of capability offered by Fisher Phillips, I’m excited to see how our annual H-1B process might be further refined and improved for our clients.”
