Denver (March 20, 2019) – Fisher Phillips announces that LaLonnie Gray has joined the firm as an associate in the Denver office.
LaLonnie is an experienced employment attorney. She helps clients comply with federal and state employment laws and advises clients before administrative agencies. LaLonnie focuses her practice in employment law and higher education, effectively counseling clients in day-to-day employment issues, including wage-and-hour issues, and defending them against employee claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
LaLonnie has extensive experience in implementing proactive solutions to help clients avoid litigation. When litigation becomes a reality, she guides clients through all of its phases, including early assessment of claims and strategy development; motions practice; efficient management of electronic discovery, depositions, and expert discovery; and settlement negotiations.
She has defended claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Pay Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, Title IX, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Colorado Wage Act, and Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. She routinely defends employers against employment-related claims and charges before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Colorado Civil Rights Division.

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, LaLonnie worked at a national employment-law boutique firm and a well-respected Colorado boutique. She also served as the judicial law clerk to the Hon. Christine M. Arguello of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. LaLonnie earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where she served on the executive board of the Denver University Law Review.
