BOSTON (January 3, 2017) – Jeffrey A. Fritz has become partner in the Boston office of the national labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips, the firm announced today. An employment law litigator, Fritz joined Fisher Phillips in 2013 Of Counsel.
“Jeff has been an important player in the growth of our Boston office. His litigation experience has added depth and helped us provide one-stop shopping to employers needing labor and employment representation in any context,” said Joseph W. Ambash, managing partner of the firm’s Boston office.
“I’m honored to make partner in one of the country’s largest, most respected labor and employment law firms. It’s provided me with an ideal platform for growing an employment law litigation practice,” said Fritz.
Fritz has successfully represented employers in state and federal courts, and before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, among other regulatory bodies. His case mix has included matters arising under anti-discrimination, wage and hour, whistleblower, family and medical leave, workers’ compensation, and unemployment compensation statutes. He is a member of the Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York bars.
Fritz clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Thomas P. Smith. He is a graduate of Tufts University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science, and the University of Connecticut Law School, where he was executive editor of the law review and vice president of the student bar association. In 2013, he was selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers.
