In a recent interview with MarketWatch, Sarah Wieselthier explores whether COVID-19 can be considered a disability under the American with Disabilities Act. She explains that even though coronavirus alone may not be considered a disabilities under the ADA, complications caused by COVID are important in terms of whether or not a person is entitled to an accommodation. Sarah also advises employers to look at everything on an individual basis and recommends against employers issuing broad policies that apply to large groups of employees.
