The article “In 50th Year, EEOC Pushes Enforcement Limits” discussed how the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is pushing the envelope as it approaches its 50th anniversary on July 2, 2015, pursuing novel issues “with great enthusiasm, if not complete success.”
Randy was quoted on his take of the EEOC’s strategic enforcement plan.
In addition to helping eradicate most instances of overt discrimination, the agency has done other positive things, such as setting forth its priorities and taking steps to ensure greater efficiency and consistency among its staff, noted Randy. But “at times, it’s gone too far by making the law rather than having an enforcement presence,” he added.
