Immigration Co-Chair Provides Tips for Lawyers Traveling Abroad with Electronic Devices

In an interview with the ABA Journal, David Jones provides insight on how lawyers can best protect their client information when traveling internationally now that U.S. Customs and Border Protection is increasingly searching phones, computers, and other electronic devices. One suggestion from David is that lawyers traveling abroad should consider traveling without a laptop or bringing a loaner laptop that is “clean” of any client information.
