Lessons Learned from Due Process Hearings – Surviving the Battle!
Join Dianna Bowen, Partner, Fisher Phillips, and Angela Pittman, Director of Special Education, Dallas ISD, as they discuss surviving a due process hearing and the aftermath, including ways to avoid a hearing, preparing for an inevitable hearing, and following-up to prevent future issues. Ms. Bowen will provide legal analysis and keys to succeed in due process hearings. Ms. Pittman adds practical tips to repair the school/parent relationship after the dust settles.
