Anne Kahn spoke with HR Dive about the rise of the Chief AI Officer, a desired role that has more than tripled in the last five years. She explains that a Chief AI Officer might be “brought in to align an organization’s AI strategy and goals, depending on the existing roles and business needs.” Additionally, she says this person can also oversee AI governance, consider privacy-related aspects of AI, mitigate the risk of AI deployment, oversee training and education on AI, and ensure transparency in AI use.
