In an interview with Bloomberg Law regarding a recent case involving a request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to release unredacted safety records, Ed Foulke explains that the precedential value of this particular case could extend beyond California. Ed anticipates the decision [to release the records] will force agencies to settle existing disputes. “More cases will be filed – or more FOIA request will be made, then we’ll see how OSHA responds,” he says.
