Lisa McClane Brings Years of Employment Litigation Experience to the Firm’s Las Vegas Office

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, announces the addition of Lisa McClane as a Partner in the firm’s Las Vegas office.
For the last decade, Lisa practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm where she represented employers in complex litigation arising under a variety of state and federal claims. She has advocated for employers across many jurisdictions and before governmental agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), the Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC), and the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR). At Fisher Phillips, Lisa will continue litigating on behalf of employers in all aspects of workplace law with a focus on cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and non-compete issues.

Lisa will also focus a large part of her practice on proactively helping employers avoid litigation and workplace disputes by working with them to design, implement, and conduct training programs. She regularly conducts trainings on discrimination, harassment, and disability health leave issues. In addition to trainings, Lisa will also work with employers to conduct workplace investigations and advise them on compliance with a variety of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations including the Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Lisa earned her law degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law where she was an executive officer and member of the Society of Advocates (moot court) and ABA National Client Counseling Champion. During law school she also served as an extern for the Honorable David T. Wall of the Eighth Judicial District Court and for the Nevada Attorney General’s office. In 2021 Lisa was ranked in Best Lawyers in America in the category of “Litigation- Labor and Employment.”
