Fisher Phillips Welcomes Jeremy Wood in Seattle

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Jeremy Wood has joined the firm as an associate in the Seattle office.
Jeremy began his legal career at a global law firm focused entirely on labor and employment matters, with an emphasis on trade secrets and, when circumstances called for it, COVID-19 related advice. He has also worked as an Assistant City Attorney in Seattle. Most recently, Jeremy was an associate at a northwest regional law firm where he represented private and tribal clients on issues pertaining to natural resources, environmental regulation, corporate affairs, and employment.
At Fisher Phillips, Jeremy will draw upon his wide-ranging litigation experience to represent companies in a variety of employment-related claims in both state and federal court. He will defend employers in workplace law disputes involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge, and will advise on compliance with a variety of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations. In addition, Jeremy will help employers of all sizes prevent workplace disputes by counseling them on employee training, handbooks, and policy creation.
Jeremy earned his law degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Law where he served as Articles Editor for the Washington International Law Journal and received the Dean’s Medal. After law school Jeremy clerked for the Honorable Ronald Cox of the Washington State Court of Appeals.
Jeremy also serves as Judge Pro Tempore on a number of municipal and tribal courts throughout Western Washington.
