Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that David Menz has joined the firm’s Seattle office.
David has devoted decades to representing clients across various industries in federal, state, and appellate courts throughout Washington. He began his legal career at a boutique firm where he defended employers, public institutions, and manufacturers throughout all phases of trial. His work on behalf of employers included defense in matters involving claims of discrimination, breach of contract, and non-competes.
David then started his own law practice in which he represented clients in an array of matters including product liability, licensing and all aspects of transactional contracts. As a sole practitioner, he placed an emphasis on enhancing clients’ understanding of the legal and regulatory environment impacting them daily. David brings this same client focus to Fisher Phillips where he will represent employers in a variety of employment-related litigation claims in both state and federal court. He will defend companies in workplace law disputes involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge, and will advise on compliance with a variety of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations. In addition, David will provide counseling and help employers of all sizes prevent workplace disputes by advising them on employee training, handbooks, and policy creation.
David earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School, and he earned his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College.
