Fisher Phillips Transitions Managing Partner in Portland to Mitch Baker
Experienced Portland Labor & Employment Attorney Assumes Role October 1

PORTLAND, OR (October 1, 2013) - National labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips , announced that Mitch Baker has begun his term as Managing Partner in the firm's Portland office as part of a planned leadership transition. He follows Richard Meneghello who completed a four-year term as managing partner and will continue to help grow the office and work with clients throughout the region.
With extensive experience enforcing noncompetition agreements, prosecuting Trade Secrets Act violations, defending employers accused of discrimination and retaliation, and representing employers in wage and hour class action cases, Baker serves clients across the Northwest and nationally. He has been instrumental in growing the firm's practice in the region. He is a frequent speaker on labor and employment law matters and is a regular contributor to the Oregon Daily Journal of Commerce. Baker also devotes a considerable amount of time to representing victims of domestic violence through the Legal Aid Services of Oregon.

Baker earned his law degree in 1997 from Lewis and Clark College Northwestern School of Law and a B.A. in finance from Western Washington University in 1994.
