Fisher Phillips Strengthens Tampa Office With Claire Meharg

TAMPA (December 6, 2018) – Fisher Phillips today announces the addition of employment attorney Claire Meharg, who joins as an associate in the firm’s Tampa office.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Claire was an associate at a Florida-based litigation firm where she defended clients in employment disputes before state and federal court on a variety of claims, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes. Additionally, she has prior experience in civil litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability and product liability. At Fisher Phillips, Claire will support management in all aspects of labor and employment litigation and will counsel clients on general employment law issues to help ensure compliance and reduce the risk of litigation.

Claire earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida. While attending law school, Claire worked as the executive managing editor of the Florida Law Review and as a teaching assistant with the Department of Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
