SAN DIEGO (May 8, 2019) – Danielle Hultenius Moore, partner in Fisher Phillips San Diego office and chair of the firm’s Development Committee, has been shortlisted for the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: USA 2019. Danielle, who is also the former co-chair of the firm’s nationwide Women’s Initiative Leadership Council (WILC), was shortlisted for Gender Diversity Lawyer of the Year for her dedication and commitment to gender diversity programs that help further the advancement of women in the legal profession.
The Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: USA 2019 celebrate in-house and private practice trailblazers who are actively furthering the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. Chambers USA will announce the winners on June 6, 2019 in San Francisco.
Danielle is nominated for her firmwide initiatives to advance women at Fisher Phillips and in the legal community, none bigger than her creation of WILC. WILC comprises attorneys and staff from Fisher Phillips offices around the nation and focuses on recruiting, developing and retaining women attorneys and fostering female leadership within the firm. WILC also promotes the advancement of women outside the firm and develops programs and projects to support that goal. Through WILC, Danielle brought to life her vision of a forum for attorneys to share experiences, bringing together women attorneys in the firm to share resources, exchange ideas and build business development opportunities. As a result of Danielle’s boldness, coupled with the support of her colleagues within the firm, WILC is now a successful nationwide program and continues to benefit the firm’s attorneys across 34 offices.
In her legal practice, Danielle represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation and wage-and-hour class action lawsuits. She also counsels clients on employment handbook and personnel policy preparation and general preventive advice including hiring, discipline and termination practices.
Outside of her work with Fisher Phillips, Danielle is active in charitable organizations in the San Diego community, many of which seek to promote the interests of women, attorneys and students. Danielle has been the recipient of several awards in the regional and statewide business and legal communities. In 2018, she received the Lawyers Club of San Diego “North County Service Award.” Danielle was a finalist for San Diego Magazine’s “Woman of the Year” in 2016 and was selected to the publication’s “Top Lawyers” list from 2014 to 2016.
