Fisher Phillips Partner Grace Horoupian Named "Member Of The Year" by the Huntington Beach Chamber Of Commerce

HUNTINGTON BEACH (December 9, 2011) - Grace Y. Horoupian, a partner in the Irvine, office, has been named "Member of the Year" by the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce. Horoupian was honored for her work in serving as the General Counsel and Vice Chair of the Chamber Board. The "Member of the Year" distinction is given annually to a member who has made a significant contribution to the development of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Horoupian, a local Huntington Beach resident, regularly lends her 16 years of legal experience to the Board and the Chamber and assists the Board with its business development programs for the more than 1,000 member businesses that it serves.

As a seasoned lawyer, Horoupian represents employers in cases arising from civil rights violation claims, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and wage and hour disputes, as well as ADA and ADEA claims, unfair business practices, predatory employee and customer solicitation claims, misappropriation of trade secrets and class action disputes. She also provides employers with preventive counseling and provides seminars and workshops discussing employment issues to executives, supervisors, managers and human resource professionals.

Horoupian is a member of the Armenian Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
