In an interview with The Company Dime, Emily Litzinger discusses how hotels may respond to the recent federal vaccine mandate. Emily says that in more recent weeks, “lots of employers have been saying, ‘How do we do this, since we may have to anyway?’” Additionally, she says some hoteliers may be hesitant to establish new requirements due to the current labor shortage in the hospitality industry. “It’s hard enough to retain people without that as a possible deterrent,” she said. “If all are required to do so, then it’s a level playing field.”
