Kevin advises that employers should first assess the state of its workforce and how many employees are already vaccinated. Next, employers need to be very clear on which employees need to be vaccinated and when. Additionally, employers should consider accommodations, local and state laws, and a clear policy on discipline. Finally, Kevin advises that employers refer to trusted sources, including state and local public health sites. When rolling out the policy, Kevin says employers should consider bringing medical officials in person or virtually who can answer any medical-related questions.
