Fisher Phillips Maintains Momentum in Denver with Arrival of Partner Katie Custer

Fisher Phillips, an international labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Katie Custer has joined as a Partner in Denver, Colorado. Katie brings the lawyer headcount in Denver up to 38, maintaining the firm’s growth momentum in that office after the recent arrivals of Partners Rassa Ahmadi and Daniel Pepper; Of Counsel Kimberley Dempster; and Associates Jake Bass, Jessica Reed-Baum, and Adrian Salmen.

Katie joins from a midsize national litigation firm where she defended companies in complex commercial disputes across the U.S. She has experience handling matters across a wide array of industries, including, oil & gas, energy, and healthcare. Katie is known for her comprehensive courtroom experience, having tried over 20 cases to verdict including the handling of cross examinations, depositions, jury selections, opening statements, closing arguments, and arguing countless dispositive and non-dispositive motions in federal and state courts. Prior to her most recent role, Katie was a Criminal Prosecutor at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, and before that, she was a litigation associate in the Denver offices of several AmLaw 100 firms where she handled cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair business practices, government contracts, and COVID-19 claims.

Katie earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
