Tami Essis Culkar Joins Office as Of Counsel

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Tami Essis Culkar has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Denver office.
Tami brings more than a decade of experience representing employers and public school districts on labor, employment, and personnel-related issues including hiring, discipline, negotiations, collective bargaining, and contract administration, as well as in Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) hearings and arbitrations. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Tami was Special Counsel at a California law firm where she helped numerous school districts handle concerted activities by employees, including the mediation and fact-finding phases. She also developed and presented anti-harassment, anti-discrimination, ADA/interactive process, Brown Act/Board Governance training courses for clients.

Tami is the second attorney to join Fisher Phillips’ Denver office since its 2020 move to new office space in the heart of the City’s Central Business District located at 1125 17th St. The new space provides double the square footage to accommodate the growth that the Denver office has been experiencing in recent months.
Tami earned her J.D. from Catholic University of America, and her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
