Fisher Phillips Grows Again in Boston

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, announces the addition of Deepa Desai as an associate in the firm’s Boston office. 

Desai joins from a regional law firm and expands Fisher Phillips’ employment litigation and higher education teams in Massachusetts. As a litigator, she defends employers against claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation, as well as wage and hour violations and contract disputes. Desai also counsels clients on day-to-day workplace matters, including the preparation of employee handbooks, hiring, terminations, discipline, leaves of absence and accommodations. In addition to conducting internal student conduct investigations, she advises clients on labor and employment laws, conflicts of interest, pay equity, and other legal issues arising in the higher education context.

Desai earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Boston University. She is Vice President of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and a member of the USA 500 Clubs.
