Firm Welcomes Theanna Bezney to the Dallas Office

DALLAS (October 5, 2020) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Theanna Bezney has joined the firm as an associate in the Dallas office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Theanna practiced at an AmLaw 100 law firm where she counseled companies in employment law compliance; prepared employment contracts, severance agreements, and documents relating to protection of employer trade secrets and employee defection; and defended companies in matters involving everything from claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation to wage and hour litigation. At Fisher Phillips she will continue her work on these and other matters as a labor and employment practitioner representing employers in a variety of disputes under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Texas Labor Code. Theanna will also represent companies by appearing before various courts and agencies, including matters before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Texas Workforce Commission.
Theanna earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law where she served as Editor of the American Journal of Criminal Law. Before that, she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of New Mexico.
