Theanna Bezney, an Of Counsel attorney in Fisher Phillips’s Dallas office, represents businesses across multiple industries in all aspects of employment law, providing both practical day-to-day counsel and vigorous defense in high-stakes litigation. She regularly advises companies on compliance with federal and state employment laws, drafts workplace policies and employment agreements, and helps employers navigate sensitive issues such as employee leaves of absence, discipline, and terminations; trade secret protection and restrictive covenants; and employee classification and compensation.
When disputes arise, Theanna is an experienced advocate with a strong record of defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. She represents clients before federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and administrative agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has successfully defended cases under Title VII, the ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA, and various state-law counterparts.
