Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Prior has joined the firm as an associate in the Philadelphia office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jennifer practiced with a litigation firm in Montgomery County, where she represented employers in a wide array of employment litigation matters. Earlier in her career, she gained experience litigating for plaintiffs in a range of employment matters, including claims of discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and other federal and state statutes. She has been honored by Super Lawyers as a Pennsylvania Rising Star in both 2021 and 2022.
At Fisher Phillips, Jennifer will continue to represent employers in workplace law disputes and will also provide companies with counseling and advice on all aspects of their employment relationships.
Jennifer joins shortly after the arrival of Kayla Panek and continues to expand an office that has doubled in size over the last two years. Since signing a lease to take the 12thfloor of the Two Logan Square building in Center City, and executing the move in June 2020, the firm has added 18 attorneys, increasing its Philadelphia headcount to 34 lawyers. With a steadily growing demand for its legal work, Fisher Phillips’ Philadelphia office continues to recruit emerging labor and employment talent for opportunities to grow its Litigation, Data Security and Privacy, Restrictive Covenants, Trade Secrets, and Labor Relations practices.
Jennifer earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law, cum laude, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and served as a member of the Law Review Board. Before attending law school, she graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Temple University.
