BOSTON, MA (July 2, 2014) – Jeffrey A. Dretler, a partner in Fisher Phillips' Boston office, has been elected a Fellow by the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, the firm announced today.
Election to the College is the highest national recognition possible by other labor and employment attorneys for sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence. Dretler will be installed as a Fellow at the College’s annual dinner on Nov. 8, 2014, coincident with an American Bar Association conference in Los Angeles.
Dretler represents employers in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, civil rights, and wage and hour issues. He also provides counsel on reasonable accommodation, independent contractor law, workplace investigations, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, and drafts noncompetition agreements, severance agreements, and personnel manuals.
Dretler is employer co-chair of two committees of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section. He has also served on the Anti-Defamation League’s New England Regional Board of Directors and the board of the Human Resources Council. Last year, he was included in Massachusetts Super Lawyer. A native of Wayland, he now lives in Sudbudy.
