DENVER, COLORADO (April 7, 2016) - Fisher Phillips, one of the nation’s leading labor and employment law firms, will host a one-day seminar in Denver that provides practical solutions to workplace problems for anyone who manages employees or makes decisions impacting the workplace.
The Annual “One Day, Many Solutions” seminar will be presented April 27 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, home of the World Champion Denver Broncos.
Fisher Phillips announced that special panelists at this year’s event will be EEOC Field Office Director, John Lowrie, and Rufina Hernandez, Director of the Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD). Mr. Lowry and Ms. Hernandez will discuss workplace anti-discrimination laws, the EEOC’s national Strategic Enforcement Plan, the CCRD’s role, and what effect this has on all employers.
Fisher Phillips Denver Managing Partner, Todd Fredrickson, will present a second session, “Why Let Bad Behavior Place Your Company at Risk?” This discussion will address an employer’s right to prohibit inappropriate conduct and maintain the work environment best suited to its needs.
Fisher Phillips attorneys will conduct a third session consisting of roundtable discussions; topics include Immigration Compliance, EEOC Discrimination Charges, and Non-Compete and Trade Secrets Issues.
The panel for the event will conclude: employment lawyers and HR professionals will discuss practical challenges employers face in dealing with the subjects covered during the seminar, as well as answer questions submitted by seminar attendees.
The cost of “One Day, Many Solutions” is $165 per person and includes lunch and happy hour (with complimentary beer and wine). For companies sending multiple attendees, the discounted per person price is $125. This program is pending for HRCI / SHRM Preferred and Continuing Legal Education Credit.
