Matthew Anderson Joins as an Associate

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Matthew Anderson has joined the firm as an associate in the Charlotte office. Anderson joins shortly after the arrival of Hunter Murray, Mary Grace Miller, and Sharon Suh, further deepening the firm’s capabilities in North Carolina.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Matthew practiced at a full-service law firm in Chicago, where he focused on complex commercial litigation matters involving employment, contracts, business torts, construction, and real estate. He also has experience in products liability and professional malpractice and successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials as an Assistant Public Defender in Will County, Illinois.
At Fisher Phillips, Matthew will leverage his prior business and litigation experience to continue representing employers in workplace law disputes and will also provide companies with counseling and advice on all aspects of their employment relationships.
Matthew earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he worked as a Rule 711 Clerk for the Loyola University Community Law Clinic. He also worked as a law clerk for the Cook County Public Defender's Homicide Task Force. Before law school, Matthew earned his M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business, his M.A. from Trinity International University, and his B.S. from William Jewell College.
