The quintessential playground bully is all grown up and continues making life miserable for others. If adult bullying is ignored, employers may not only lose good employees victimized by the bully, but find themselves the target of potential claims ranging from harassment and negligent supervision to infliction of emotional distress. It is imperative that employers identify and manage adult bullying and implement proper company policies to address adult bullying behavior.
