Germán de la Garza De Vecchi leads Fisher Phillips’ Mexico offices and is known as one of the few “go to” lawyers in Mexico for large international companies facing difficult labor relations issues in the complex, ever-evolving Mexican union environment. With more than two decades of experience and a track record of results, his credibility among union leaders, government officials, and regulators enables him to achieve clients’ goals in negotiations. Germán continues to play a vital role in the region’s economic growth and served as an advisor to regulators on recent reforms to labor laws in Mexico.

Hector Cuevas counsels leaders in Mexico’s growing renewable sector. He is actively involved in legal and regulatory matters across Mexico, acting as the principal legal advisor for the development, financing, operation, and acquisition of various infrastructure and energy projects. Since 2014, Hector has been involved in electric energy projects and investment project structuring with a social focus and has defended energy industry clients in court, in arbitrations, and before administrative agencies against claims involving whistleblowers, anticorruption and data protection.                                                                                                                  

Christian Morales represents businesses in individual and collective labor relations risk management, compliance, workplace safety, and litigation matters. His work includes teaming with clients to create comprehensive strategies to foresee and manage contingencies and risks and to resolve labor disputes. He also helps clients design and implement programs and policies that respond to changes in Mexico’s labor laws.
