Fisher Phillips Attorneys Named to ‘Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys’

For the seventh consecutive year, Fisher Phillips Chairman and Managing Partner Roger Quillen has been selected to "The Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys" in the United States by Human Resource Executive magazine.
Human Resource Executive magazine compiled the list of influential employment attorneys on the basis of curriculum-vitae analyses, evaluations by clients and peers, and reporting by the staff of Lawdragon, a Los Angeles-based news and networking site for lawyers and clients.
Quillen joined Fisher Phillips in 1980 and has served on the firm's management committee since 1997. He has been the firm's chairman and managing partner since 1999. Quillen is effectively the CEO of an organization with 350 attorneys and an additional support staff of more than 300 people. His practice involves litigation covering a wide range of employment discrimination issues, employee welfare benefit plans, the Railway Labor Act and issues arising before the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. His special emphasis is in federal appellate litigation.
Quillen graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law with honors. He also holds a Master of Science from Purdue University and two bachelor’s degrees from The Ohio State University.
Charles Caulkins
Fisher Phillips Partner Charles Caulkins has once again been named to “The Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys” by Human Resource Executive magazine for 2017. Caulkins, who is resident in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, has been included in this prestigious list every year since 2010.
Caulkins serves on Fisher Phillips’ national Management Committee. Since 1977, Caulkins has represented employers nationally in labor and employment law matters. He advises employers on the development and implementation of preventive labor relations programs to avoid charges and lawsuits, protect trade secrets, and resolve disputes.
He regularly counsels employers on union-related matters. He also handles employment-related litigation and arbitrations before state and federal courts and administrative agencies involving claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other statutory claims.
Caulkins is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and has also served as Chair of the Broward Workshop, a local CEO group and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, He is also a founding member and past President of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys.
For his extensive work in labor and employment law, Caulkins is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed in Chambers USA, America's Leading Business Lawyers since 2002, in The Best Lawyers in America since 2006, as well as in Florida Super Lawyers Magazine since 2007.
He is admitted to the Bars of Florida, South Carolina and Kansas. He earned his LL.M. in Labor Law from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, and a B.A. from Monmouth College.
Jeff Weintraub
Jeff Weintraub, regional managing partner of Fisher Phillips in Memphis, has been selected to the "Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys" in the United States by Human Resource Executive magazine.

Throughout his career, Weintraub has represented employers in more than 59 jury and bench trials in the private and public sectors in employment-harassment/discrimination and retaliatory discharge lawsuits. He also handles Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charges, labor cases, wage and hour cases, and enforcing non-competes in all federal and state courts and agencies, various Courts of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 1995, as well as Mid-South Super Lawyers for more than 10 years. Additionally, he has been listed in Chambers USA, America's Leading Business Lawyers since 2013.
Weintraub currently serves on the SHRM-Memphis Board of Directors, the Executive Board of the Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Memphis Orchestral Society Board. He is also the Chairman of the Small Business Council for the Greater Memphis Chamber.
