Regina Petty, a partner in the San Diego office, was honored by the Stanford University Black Community Services Center with its rarely-bestowed Legacy Award. The award recognizes alumni for initiating programs which have had an enduring impact at the university. Regina was recognized along with two college friends for the launch in 1977 of the Black Recruitment and Orientation Committee. BROC produced the first major admittee weekend program at Stanford in 1977. BROC continues today as a distinct component of the now university-wide spring admittee weekend.
