CLEVELAND, OH (July 8, 2013) – Fisher Phillips announced that Michael A. Jackson, Jr., an associate in the Cleveland office, has been included in Crain’s Cleveland Business’ “Who to Watch in Law” section. The section, which features those expected to lead Northeast Ohio’s legal scene of the future, appears in the July 8th issue of the publication.
“Since he began practicing law just four years ago, Mike has steadily risen to the top of his profession,” said Robert Dezort, a partner in the Cleveland office and the individual who nominated Jackson. “His work ethic and commitment to his clients has earned him the respect of in-house counsel. He knows that understanding the clients’ needs is the key to success inside and outside of the courtroom.”
Jackson joined Fisher Phillips in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable (Chief) Justice Maureen O’Connor of The Supreme Court of Ohio. He was also an associate at a large Midwest law firm.
Jackson, a member of the Ohio State and American Bar Associations, the Cleveland Employments Inn of Court, and the Ohio State University and Middle Tennessee State University Alumni Associations, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law.
