Fisher Phillips Adds Labor and Employment Attorney in New York

NEW YORK (February 24, 2021) – Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, announces the addition of Amanda Blair as an associate in the firm’s New York office.
Blair joins from the New York City Law Department where she served as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment Division. In this capacity she acted as defense counsel during New York State Division of Human Rights public hearing conducting directs and crosses for multiple witnesses. Blair also handled all stages of discovery, drafted subpoenas, and prepared witnesses for deposition. Additionally, she has written more than 30 dispositive motions. At Fisher Phillips Blair will leverage her experience working with a large complex organization to counsel and defend clients against matters involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the First Amendment, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and New York’s state and city human rights laws.

Blair earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Lehigh University.
