Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announces the addition of Jennifer Barrett DiMarzo as an associate in the Boston office.
Jennifer is a trusted employment law counselor and litigator who has represented government clients across Massachusetts. As a day-to-day counselor, she ensures proper and consistent application of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. As a litigator, she manages all aspects of litigation from responding to discovery to subpoena requests, to managing proceedings before state and federal agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the EEOC.
She most recently served as Associate General Counsel at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) where she counseled executive and departmental management on a wide range of employment law matters. In this role, Jennifer advised the organization on matters related to leave management, claims of discrimination and harassment, and separations and terminations. She regularly represented the MBTA, an organization of over 6,000 employees, in employment-related litigation, investigations, negotiations, alternative dispute resolutions and administrative proceedings before the MCAD and the EEOC. Prior to her work with MBTA, she was an associate at Avery, Dooley & Noone.
Jennifer received her law degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and her B.S., summa cum laude, from Lynn University.
