Fisher Phillips Adds Four Attorneys Across Three Southern California Offices

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce the addition of four attorneys across the firm’s Irvine, Los Angeles and San Diego offices.
Amy Choe joins as an associate in Los Angeles. Her practice covers a wide range of industries, including hospitality, transportation, property management, and healthcare in connection with discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims throughout state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. A graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Amy also has experience in intellectual property litigation and employment litigation on both the plaintiff and defense sides, as well as in family law litigation. While at law school she was the editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review.
Lucy Bertino also joins as an associate in Los Angeles. Her practice covers a wide range of employment issues, including wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, retaliation claims, breach of contract and defamation lawsuits. Previously, she worked in-house at a major entertainment company where she counseled internal stakeholders on how to address potential discipline, termination and performance management arising during motion picture and theatrical productions. Lucy earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her B.A. in legal studies and political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Joss Teal joins as an associate in San Diego. Upon earning his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, Joss served as law clerk to The Honorable Thomas J. Whelan in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. While at law school, he was an editor at the San Diego Law Review and was also a published author. Joss earned his B.A. in philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Previously he taught English to at-risk students in Vietnam as well as Japanese students seeking admission to American universities.
Sunny Huynh joins as an associate in Irvine. With experience serving public entities and private clients, her practice focuses on defending employers in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims. Sunny earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she received Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in Business Associations and Legal Ethics and Corporate Practice. She received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine.
