Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announces the addition of Aymara Ledezma as an associate in its Los Angeles office.
With experience in various areas of employment and general litigation, Ledezma will focus her practice on employment litigation. She joins the firm from Vanderford & Ruiz, LLP’s Pasadena office.
“We are excited to add Aymara to our litigation team,” said Todd Scherwin, managing partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office. “Skilled in the courtroom and possessing a wealth of experience handling wage-hour claims with the California Labor Commissioner, Aymara is another fine addition to our team and to the office.”
Ledezma previously clerked for Waters Kraus & Paul and for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. During law school, she mediated employment retaliation claims through the school’s Employment Rights Clinic. Ledezma also served as a research assistant and as a certified law student in the school’s Center for Juvenile Law and Policy. She is a graduate of Loyola Law School (J.D., 2015) and Loyola Marymount University (B.A., 2010).
