Fisher Phillips Adds Attorneys In Mississippi & Tennessee

ATLANTA, GA (April 29, 2013) – Fisher Phillips announces the addition of two attorneys in Gulfport, Mississippi, and one in Memphis, Tennessee. Steven R. Cupp is a partner in Gulfport and is joined by Jaklyn L. Wrigley, an associate. Courtney Leyes Tomlinson joins the Memphis office as an associate. All three attorneys were with the labor and employment practice group at Jones Walker.
Cupp, who joined Fisher Phillips on April 22, has focused his practice on management-side labor and employment law for 23 years and has worked with employers in a wide array of industries. His practice includes traditional labor litigation before the National Labor Relations Board, litigation of cases stemming from the Fair Labor Standards Act, handling wage and hour audits by the Department of Labor, and all aspects of labor and employment litigation in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. He is licensed to practice in Mississippi, Louisiana and Georgia. He earned his juris doctor degree, cum laude, at the University Georgia School of Law and his bachelor of arts at the University of New Orleans.
Wrigley will join the firm on May 8. She also practices labor and employment law. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, summa cum laude, and received her bachelor of science degree, cum laude, in Spanish from Ole Miss. She is admitted in Mississippi and will be admitted in Florida at the next Florida induction ceremony. Tomlinson, who will join the firm on May 6, has been representing employers throughout the state of Mississippi with particular focus on the burgeoning industrial areas in the northern part of the state and the gaming industry in Tunica, Mississippi. She earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Missouri’s Honor College. She is admitted to practice in Mississippi, Missouri and the District of Columbia.
