Dust Off Your Employee Handbooks – It’s Time to Review the Practical Impacts of the NLRB’s Stericycle Decision
1:00 PM — 2:00 PM EST
$75 per person
On August 2nd, the NLRB lobbed its latest salvo in what may feel like a pattern of assaults on employee handbooks. The widely anticipated decision in Stericycle, Inc. leaves employers, once again, faced with the challenge of reexamining their workplace policies to conform with shifting priorities from the NLRB. Specifically, the decision signals a return to the Lutheran Heritage standard with rules concerning workplace civility; loitering; unlawful strikes, work stoppages, and slowdowns; and restrictions on video and/or cell phone recording all poised to receive heightened levels of scrutiny.
It’s a lot to unpack. And will call for a lot of red ink in handbooks. Join the Fisher Phillips Labor Relations Group for an important webinar, which is being offered on September 12th or September 28th, that will address these impacts and help employers move forward from a position of confident compliance.
