Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in a Legal Framework for Independent and Private Schools
Event
4.29.21
1:30 PM — 2:30 PM EST
Independent and private schools are working hard to be more diverse, equitable and inclusive but they must address DEI in a legal framework, particularly with respect to employment and enrollment. If you have ever wondered how to legally vet candidates, increase diversity in your applicant pools, and maintain a welcoming community that will enable your school to retain diverse students and employees, then this session is for you. We will be considering everything from federal and state law to lessons learned in higher education that can be applied in the K-12 space. Join independent and private school lawyers Susan Guerette and Kristin Smith, and Professor Tonja Conerly for this engaging discussion filled with practical and legal tips and tricks. Registration is complimentary.
