In an interview with Law360, Bob Robenalt offers tips to employers considering vaccine mandates now that the FDA has approved the Pfizer vaccine. Employers had the blessing of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to mandate vaccines even before the FDA issued any final approvals, Bob says, and those protections should hold in the case of a mixed workforce where not all are old enough to get a shot that's now fully approved. "As a practical matter, they may want to address that issue with their employees, and employees that are under 16. But I think from a legal perspective, I don't know that it changes the analysis on the employer's liabilities," Bob adds.
