California Legislative Update – You Might Want to Close Your Eyes for This One
Event
8.04.23
10:00 AM — 11:00 AM PST
The California Legislature is currently on summer recess, but will return shortly for a final month of action for the legislative year. This is the most active legislative year on the labor and employment front since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Dozens of bills are making their way through the process – including increases to paid sick leave requirements, new leave entitlements, employment discrimination protections for “family caregivers,” workplace violence prevention requirements, increased mass layoff notice, rehire obligations for displaced workers, and many more.
This webinar hosted by our very own capitol insider will let you know what new obligations may be coming your way. It may not be pretty, but you definitely want to get a sneak peek of what may be on the horizon so you can start to plan now!
The firm will be submitting this program for HRCI and SHRM credit.
