Bloomberg Law Taps Healthcare Co-Chair to Discuss OSHA’s Withdraw of ETS

In an interview with Bloomberg Law, Kevin Troutman discusses OSHA’s announcement to withdraw its original COVID-19 healthcare ETS. The announcement came one week after its ETS had reached its six-month expiration date with no word from the Agency on what to expect as they continue working on a permanent version of the rule. Kevin says that healthcare employers should “stay the course” and to continue practices as if the ETS was still in effect.
“To the greatest extent possible, covered employers should continue to follow the provisions in it,” he said.
