Attorney Identifies EEO-1 Report Mistakes to Be Aware Of

The SHRM article “Dodge These Frequent EEO-1 Report Mistakes Before It's Too Late” discusses the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s decision to extend the deadline for employers to complete EEO-1 reports after they failed to respond promptly to requests for technical assistance from companies that have merged or that have acquired companies.                                    

Cheryl Behymer comments on the process for employers filing after a merger. She said: "I have found the process incredibly slow, and [staff] who do respond are not always able to understand some of the intricacies of corporate structures and restructuring."
