Atlanta Attorney Elected to Executive Committee of the State Bar of Georgia

ATLANTA, GA (October 6, 2016) – Fisher Phillips partner Matt Simpson has been elected to the executive committee of the State Bar of Georgia’s labor and employment law section.
The executive committee of the State Bar of Georgia’s labor and employment law section consists of five members and focuses attention on all areas of employee/employer labor and management relationships through continuing legal education. The organization’s mission is to foster among the members of the state bar the principles of duty and service to the public, to improve the administration of justice and to advance the science of law.
The position provides for a five-year term, culminating with each member serving as the committee chair during their fourth year of service.

Simpson represents management in all areas of labor and employment law in state and federal courts as well as before state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the United States Department of Labor. He has been listed in Georgia Super Lawyers – Rising Stars since 2011 and was named as one of the Top Attorneys Under 40 and as a Rising Star by Law360.
