In an interview with McKnight’s Senior Living, Micah Dickie shares his insights on OSHA’s proposed recordkeeping regulation, announced in April, that’s aimed at better tracking workplace injuries and illnesses. With the deadline for Form 300A quickly approaching and the recent increase in OSHA civil penalties, employers should be aware of the penalties for job-related injuries and illnesses. "Although employers have an obligation to report injuries and illnesses under the existing recordkeeping regulation, this proposal would increase employer obligations by a dramatic degree."
