Anet Drapalski Interviews with San Francisco’s KRON 4 on California’s 4-Day Workweek Proposal

News

The California State Assembly is currently considering a bill that would require employers with more than 500 employees to limit the workweek to four days and 32 hours. San Francisco’s KRON 4 news station reached out to Anet Drapalski for insight on what this bill, if passed, would mean for employers.

Anet explained that the law may not be as beneficial is it sounds. She says some employers may still need their employees 40 hours, then they will have pay them over time for the additional eight hours.

“On the flipside it comes back on the consumer,” he said. “We’re going to have to pay more if it costs more to produce certain goods and services.”
