Join the Labor Relations Group at Fisher Phillips for an important webinar that will explore contemporary notions of Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and what employers can do to support productive and collegial workplaces.

For ninety years, the NLRA, and Section 7 specifically, has set forth the right of employees to engage in protected concerted activity. Traditional interpretations of what construes protected concerted activity (PCA) have necessarily evolved since the depths of The Great Depression to include provisions for social media discourse, confidential internal investigations, social justice advocacy, and more. It’s a lot for employers to manage in the best of circumstances, and against the backdrop of an historically volatile and passionate political environment, it may seem daunting.

This webinar, which is designed for labor relations and senior human resources professionals, will unpack certain of the precepts concerning Sections 7 that are new or changed since 1935, review recent cases and findings that underpin contemporary understandings of PCA, and discuss hypothetical scenarios that are relevant to the challenges frontline managers face today.

Attendees will come away with tools to both promote high-functioning workforces and respond legally and effectively when incidents concerning Section 7 and PCA arise.

Space for this program is limited and reserved exclusively for clients and prospective clients of Fisher Phillips. Registrants will receive email confirmation of their reservations upon review of registration details.
