In an interview with KOMO News, Catharine Morisset discusses a local mandate requiring King County employees to show proof that they have been vaccinated for COVID-19. “Mandates have put the onus of compliance on the employer,” Catharine says, adding that one of the common questions she fields is around religious exemptions. “Vaccines have become politicized so a lot of requests coming from employees tend to suggest that the belief that has to do with politics. A generalized concern about the safety of vaccine generally won’t qualify for a religious belief.”
