In an interview with Bloomberg Law, Logan Booth shared his thoughts on Illinois' newly signed Artificial Intelligence Safety Measures Act, noting that the law puts significant pressure on companies deploying frontier AI models by requiring them to ensure their vendors are in compliance. “The obligation on companies that are going to be using these types of models is going to be to ensure that any vendors that they’re dealing with are in compliance with the law so that there’s no legal liability in the event that one of these large developers is not compliant with the Illinois act,” said Logan.
