In an interview with Law360, Dave Walton explains that he was intrigued by the chance to work at an employment firm with a “great reputation” like Fisher Phillips. He also discusses that it was the right time for his move since there will likely be a higher demand in the post-pandemic world for attorneys like him who will contribute to the firm’s employee defection, trade secrets, privacy and cyber practices. He notes that his litigation experience “gives [him] a more practical understanding of what a trial could look like and lets [him] provide more proactive counseling.”
